"One can't, all alone, affirm one's own experience, since this is something known to the self only after the fact... by means of discussion, by means of the artefact, and so on....

Language is the unfolding of meaning itself. We do not speak language. Language speaks us.  Rhythms and tones are not expressions of our bodily drives, our bodily drives are discharged through rhythms and tones...."

"Who is she, la grande madame?  Who is this woman?

She is quiet.  She is old world.  She is .... out-of-place, obsolete.

She is the phonograph.  She is the lace.  She is the handcrafted, and unpolished.

She is the fictional matriarch.  She is the fallen diva. She is la mujer, the bosom, the nest, the home-coming.

She is a place of rest, for us, but how does she feel, alone, abandoned, infirm?

She is falling ...

She is evaporating ...

She is returning to that which came before 'you' or 'I', perception, or memory ...

in(p)articulate matter ...."
